Night Fishing: When I went down to the water’s edge of Tokyo’s 中央防波堤 (central breakwater) to take some night photos of the Odaiba area across the bay there was a young man there trying his luck at fishing. I hope he caught something. The large objects in the water are sand compactors for firming up the bottom of the bay, with some floating cranes visible beyond them. The EXIF for this shot shows 55mm focal length but it was actually 35. This is a 20 second exposure and I’m grateful to the fellow for not moving around more than he did.
