Kanchiin Temple- Dry Garden:

Kanchiin is a sub-temple of the famous Tōji Temple in Kyoto. Kanchiin was founded in 1308 and its buildings all date back to the Edo period (1603-1867), and the famous (and smelly) Japanese swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi painted some of the sliding screens here. I got to say, when it comes to the real Musashi as opposed to the fictional one, I am a bigger fan of the real Musashi’s artwork compared to his skill with the sword.
