Curry Lamune  カレーラムネ: LAMUNE is a drink in Japan with over a 150 year history. Basically it is a drink in a glass bottle, the desing of which hasn’t changed, with a marble like stopper that you pop into the bottle to be able to drink. Very common to see it on sale in the summer and at fairs or festivals. It’s most commonly seen as a light blue bottle, but this place in Asakusa was also selling “curry” flavored Lamune (the brown and orange looking bottle). I didn’t try it (and don’t think I will ever). I prefer the classic light blue bottle with a light tasting soda like drink inside.
