These blossoms were located in front of the Benten-do. Senso-ji, Asakusa Kannon Temple, is the oldest temple in Tokyo. It is also home to Tokyo’s most famous shinto festival. Senso-ji is located on the same grounds as Asakusa Jinja, and it features a long shopping arcade, giant lantern, two famous gates, and a pagoda. It was formerly a temple of the Tendai sect of Buddhism, but is now independent.
